One of the rarest Sarracenias in the wild, it is CITES I protected which is the highest level. Is is very hardy, quite vigorous with stocky traps and distinctive curly winter leaves (phyllodia). The flowers are a soft yellow. It is one of the first to come into growth and die back and a useful parent in many hybrids adding vigour to the plant.
