‘B52’ is a very famous Venus Flytrap cultivar (amongst carnivorous plant enthusiasts) bred by Henning von Schmelling at the Chattahoochee Nature Centre at Roswell, Georgia.
The traps are up to 5.7 cm long and brightly coloured. This plant is one of the top contenders for the largest trap of any cultivar. The deep red shown in the picture is achieved in late summer in good light.
Our sale plants (pictured) are well established and are producing traps up to 2.5cm long.

Very disappointed. Came half dead, with soaking wet soil, browned dead parts and hardly any colour in the traps even though it’s meant to be red/pink. The good part is that it came packaged well.

Wow, if the VFT B52 is dormant now, as it is the middle of winter, it is going to look amazing when it wakes up in the spring and begins to grow. I did have to wait 6-7 weeks for delivery as they were closed over January but I was aware of this and it was worth the wait. Will be ordering new more plants from LSOH for sure. 10/10.
