Nepenthes alata

The Nepenthes alata is the best known Nepenthes species. The cups vary in color, from red to green, and are elongated and narrow. After the first few generations of cups, this creeper will begin to swing and create other, smaller cups. If the cups are dry upon receipt, we recommend that you fill them up to a quarter with rainwater, just once.
