Utricularia longifolia (Brazil)

A good display plant having lots of long narrow leaves up to 35cm long and 3cm wide and lots of lovely mauve flowers with golden blotch produced over a long period. One of the easiest epiphytes to grow. Fairly free flowering. Grow in a pot or basket lined with sphagnum moss. Frost free in winter. Will die down. Allow to dry out for dormant period in winter. Does well in a terrarium.
