Sarracenia flava var ornata (heavy veined)

A variable form. Where the typical form has a single red splash in the centre of the column, the heavy veined forms have variable amounts of veining extending over the top of the hood and down the trap. The veining can be like a fine net (fairly common in North Carolina forms) or coarse, sparse veining like those forms from the Sandy Bottom Creek Road site in Florida. Good, vigorous plants. Sunny position.
