Sarracenia rubra jonesii

A very rare plant in the wild - it has CITES I protection and is almost extinct. The traps turn a red colour at the top with a definite bulge. One of the hardiest rubras. 60cm. Lovely tall scented red flowers. Sunny position. Stand in 2-5cm rainwater. Allow to die down in winter and cut off brown parts of trap. Keep damp but don't stand in too much water. Keep sheltered, but no heat needed over winter.
